About the Blog


By any chance, if you stumble upon this blog you might wanna know what this blog about.As stated in previous post, this blog is owned by a group of seven people who been assigned for blogging about valvetrain system which will be more focused on Honda and Toyota valvetrain system.

This task was assigned as our assessment for Automotive Fundamental (SCB 11303) while pursuing our bachelor at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Spanish Institute (uniKL MSI) by our dearest lecturer Madam Norhaniza. After surfing and searching for weeks, we decided to focus more on Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) variation for Honda valvetrain and Variable Valve Timing (VVT) for Toyota valvetrain system.

As a result of our discussion,we feel that it is essential for us to blog about common four stroke valve train system in order to clarify more about VTEC and VVT variation. In fact, the topic is a vital parts since VTEC and VVT are some improvement against the common valvetrain system. It is crucial for you to understand how common four stroke valvetrain system works before proceed to another step so that you can compare the difference among those system, hence getting the idea why does the system created to achieved certain desire.

If we have much time working with this blog, we’ll go to other valve system such as DSI, ATAC and so on.
